Waaree Energies Ltd has secured a new domestic order to supply 739.71 MW of solar PV modules. The Mumbai-headquartered manufacturer said the order has been placed by a domestic renewable energy solutions provider.
Module deliveries are scheduled across fiscal years 2026-27 and 2027-28.
Waaree currently has an installed manufacturing capacity of 25.8 GW for solar PV modules and 5.4 GW for solar cells.
The company reported strong financial and operational performance for the first quarter of FY2027. Revenue increased 79.22% year on year to INR 7,931.79 crore, while profit after tax (PAT) rose 15.39% to INR 891.87 crore.
The company also nearly doubled its module shipments during the quarter, selling 3.6 GW of solar modules compared to 1.9 GW in the corresponding quarter of FY2026, representing an 89% year-on-year increase.
