LONGi has retained PV Tech’s highest AAA bankability rating for Q2 2026, extending a run that now spans 26 consecutive quarters, according to the company.
PV Tech’s bankability rating is widely used in the photovoltaic sector to assess manufacturers on technology, production capacity, financial strength and market performance. LONGi said the AAA result reflects strong global confidence in its product reliability and long-term development prospects.
The company linked the rating to continued progress in solar technology. It said its independently developed HIBC solar cells achieved a photoelectric conversion efficiency of 28.13%, as certified by Germany’s Hamelin Institute for Solar Energy Research, while module efficiency based on HIBC cells reached 26.4%. LONGi also said its crystalline silicon perovskite tandem solar cells reached 35.5% conversion efficiency, certified by the European Solar Test Installation.
LONGi added that it is building a broader technology platform through what it calls a Technology Forest, unveiled at the 2026 Solar Energy Storage Innovation Technology Conference on July 14. The company said the platform includes eight foundational technologies such as ACM technology, integrated conductive backsheet technology and shingling technology.

The company’s BC module business is also expanding rapidly. LONGi said cumulative global shipments from 2023 to the end of 2026 are expected to approach 100 GW, with annual shipments rising from 6 GW in 2023 to 17 GW in 2024, 23 GW in 2025 and more than 50 GW in 2026.
In solar storage, LONGi launched its Full Stack LONGi, LONGi ONE strategy on April 1, aiming to build a native integrated system it says improves efficiency and safety from the source. At the SNEC exhibition in Shanghai in June, it showcased products including OneBank 2.0, OneMatrix 2.0, Hi MO ONE, OneNexus, OneSync and OneOS, covering utility scale, commercial and industrial, off grid and microgrid applications.
LONGi said it plans to establish 30 local service centers in major global solar storage markets by 2028 as it seeks to deepen customer support and expand its international footprint.
