BLUETTI, a China-based portable power and PV products provider, has brought its SORA 500 portable solar panel to the US market. The 500 W panel has been build for RV travel, camping, and off-grid power requirements. Weighing 28.4 lbs, the product can be folded into a 22.4 x 17.5 x 3.3 inch frame for easy storage and transport. The panel is equipped with n-type mono cells and can achieve up to 25% efficiency. It also includes an ETFE-coated surface, IP67 protection, and a standard MC4 connector. Third-party testing reported by BLUETTI recorded real-world solar output of up to 509 W. The panel can also be used with BLUETTI RV power setups offering outputs from 1.2 kW to 5 kW. SORA 500 is now available in the US market for $799, with an additional 5% discount.
