Power demand in space is rising as more satellites, manufacturing platforms, and data centers are planned for orbit. Ascent Solar’s CEO, Paul Warley, believes that meeting that demand could become increasingly difficult.
Warley’s road into space technology was far from conventional. Before entering the industry, he spent four decades in finance. As a graduate of South Carolina’s senior military college, The Citadel, his career also includes over a decade in the US Army, where he rose to the rank of captain.
