Hanersun, a China-based PV module manufacturer, has completed module installation for a 14 MW C&I solar project at Jingxian Longxin Steel firm. Jingxian Longxin Steel operates electric-arc furnace steelmaking facilities and produces hot-rolled rebar at the manufacturing site. The 14 MW PV system is intended to supply renewable power to Jingxian Longxin Steel’s manufacturing operations and reduce the plant’s operating costs. Grid-connection preparations are now underway, with the system scheduled to be connected to the grid during August. The project uses Hanersun’s HITOUCH 6N modules, which are rated at 710 W and based on n-type technology. The HITOUCH 6N modules offer efficiency of up to 22.9% and are designed with low degradation characteristics. Additionally, the modules have also passed reliability tests for PID, salt mist, and blowing sand resistance, supporting their use at the steel manufacturing site.
