Solar panels damaged by Super Typhoon Sinlaku are loaded into a shipping container on the island of Saipan in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI). The typhoon, which made landfall on April 14, 2026 caused widespread damage to the CNMI islands of Saipan, Tinian and Rota. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are helping the residents of CMNI recover by collecting and disposing of the debris.
