The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore has completed a solar energy generation system at Marina South Pier, marking a further step in the port authority’s sustainability programme
A total of 1,092 solar photovoltaic panels have been installed across approximately 3,200 square metres of rooftop and canopy space at MSP.
The system can generate up to 780,000 kWh of electricity each year, equivalent to the annual consumption of around 180 four-room HDB flats.
