Gülermak Renewables, an independent power producer (IPP), has closed PLN 152.9 million ( ~$ 41.1 million) in project financing for Project Vistula, a 62.7 MW solar photovoltaic portfolio in Poland. Polish banking group mBank S.A. provides the finance. The transaction aligns with Gülermak Renewables’ strategy to develop, own, and operate solar, wind, and battery assets across the UK and continental Europe. The company’s development portfolio exceeds 400 MW. Chief Executive Officer Turkekul Dogan stated the financing supports their commitment to the Polish market and noted this marks their first renewable sector project financing. Tomasz Niewola of mBank S.A. stated the project supports generation capacity in the Polish energy market.
