Momentum Energy Group A/S, an Independent Power Producer, commissioned a new solar PV plant near Aunslev in Nyborg Municipality on land owned by farmer Thomas Beck. The plant covers approximately 28 hectares and is fully operational following a 10-month construction and testing phase. It is expected to produce around 36,000 MWh of electricity annually, which corresponds to the consumption of over 8,000 households. Danish Sun Energy acted as engineering and procurement advisor, while AL Sydbank served as the financing partner. Native herbs and grasses were sown around and under the panels, and local school pupils helped plant wildflower seeds and set up bird nesting boxes. The company seeks permission to add a battery energy storage system to the site. The facility will be formally inaugurated in October 2026.
