NTT Docomo Business is working with Tess Engineering to strengthen the security of communications infrastructure used to remotely monitor solar power facilities in Japan. The companies will use NTT Docomo Business’s docomo business SIGN IoT network-as-a-service platform, which includes threat detection and blocking functions, communications logging and data-volume monitoring. Where a threat is detected, the system can alert a monitoring centre and, where necessary, remotely block communications.
