Alpex Solar, an Indian solar PV module manufacturer, scheduled the inauguration of its 2.2 GW solar cell manufacturing plant at Kosi Kotwan, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, for September 16, 2026. The facility is designed to manufacture G12R TOPCon (third-generation) solar cells. The company disclosed the inauguration schedule in a regulatory filing submitted to the National Stock Exchange of India on September 4, 2026. The announcement was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015. Alpex Solar also stated that the information would be available on its corporate announcements website. The filing did not specify the plant’s commercial production start date or investment amount.
