Solex Energy, a solar module manufacturer and renewable energy solutions provider, has secured a ₹75.96 crore work order, inclusive of all applicable duties and taxes, from a domestic power and electricity sector company.
In a press release, Solex Energy said the order involves the supply of N-type TOPCon G12R glass-to-glass solar modules rated at 620 Wp, manufactured at its facility on the outskirts of Surat, Gujarat. The company didnot mention a time period for delivery, although the extension for compulsory use of ALMM approved cells ends on December 31 this year.
Solex operates a fully automated manufacturing facility at Tadkeshwar, Gujarat, with a photovoltaic module production capacity of 4 GW. The company manufactures solar PV modules under the SOLXG Energy brand, which hold globally recognised certifications, and exports its products to multiple countries.
The company commenced commercial production at its 2.2 GW solar photovoltaic module facility in Surat on November 2025. Solex had previously noted that ISC Konstanz, a Germany-based research and R&D institute, supports its strategy and roadmap for advanced solar cell manufacturing technology.
The company said its modules are designed to deliver high power output, enhanced durability and reliable long-term performance, making them suitable for utility-scale and other demanding solar applications.
Solex Energy’s products are certified to global quality and performance standards, including IEC, CE, UL, CEC, BIS, EPD and Kiwa PVEL 2026. Its modules are also listed under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM).
Solex Energy continues to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities, quality systems and product portfolio to serve customers across domestic and international markets. With close to three decades of presence in the solar sector, Solex has built partnerships across utility, commercial, industrial and public sector installations in India and international markets.
