Bondada Engineering secures INR 1,153.93 crore EPC order for 270 MWp solar project in Maharashtra – pv magazine India

Bondada Engineering Ltd has received an EPC order worth INR 1,153.93 crore for the development of a 270 MWp ground-mounted solar PV project across various locations in Maharashtra.
The project will be executed over a six-month period from the receipt of the order.
The latest order comes as Bondada continues to expand its presence across high-growth energy and infrastructure segments, with a strategic focus on large-scale solar EPC, renewable energy and battery energy storage systems (BESS), alongside emerging infrastructure opportunities.
The company is also expanding its presence in the solar independent power producer (IPP) segment through its subsidiary, Onix IPP.
Separately, Onix IPP has secured a financing sanction of INR 911.25 crore from the State Bank of India (SBI) for a 225 MW solar IPP project. The sanctioned facility comprises INR 900 crore in term loan facilities and INR 11.25 crore in non-fund-based facilities.
The project is supported by a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd (MSEDCL), providing long-term revenue visibility and predictable cash flows over the project tenure.
