The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has awarded Saatvik Green Energy an order worth INR 1,041.63 crore for the supply of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules. The company was selected as one of the bidders under a tender for the manufacturing, testing, packing, supply and transportation of domestically manufactured solar PV modules using domestically manufactured solar cells. A 600 MWp capacity package forms the basis of the deal, with execution scheduled for completion by December 2027. A 4.86 GW module manufacturing facility in Ambala, Haryana, currently supports the company’s operations. An integrated facility is also under development in Odisha, planned for 2.4 GW of solar cell capacity and 4 GW of module capacity in its first phase, with a further 3.6 GW of cell capacity proposed for a second phase. The Odisha solar cell facility is progressing towards ALMM List-II enlistment, according to the company.
