A Lancaster County company is looking to bring solar energy to a Clearfield County township.
Paradise Energy Solutions has submitted plans for a five-acre ground mount solar array along Kauffman Road in Lawrence Township near Glen Richey.
County officials said the project would feature 2,500 solar panels, with security fencing.
However, Lawrence Township planning commission has tabled the application for now, saying it needs further engineering review.
Commission members said discussions will continue at its meeting on November 10.
