Sadbhav Futuretech signs MoU with Seaflex to enter European floating solar – Power Peak Digest

Sadbhav Futuretech Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Seaflex AB, setting out a framework for collaboration in the European Floating Solar Photovoltaic (FPV) market.
The agreement marks a significant milestone in Sadbhav’s international expansion and gives it a platform to pursue European projects by combining its project development and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) capabilities with Seaflex’s expertise in anchoring and mooring technology.
Division of roles
Under the proposed collaboration, Sadbhav will focus on developing and delivering Floating Solar PV opportunities in Europe, supported by Seaflex’s specialist technology, engineering expertise and product solutions. Europe is the initial geographical focus of the partnership.
Seaflex AB is a recognised pioneer in elastic anchoring and mooring systems, with a history dating back to the 1970s. Its experience in securing floating structures in diverse aquatic environments provides a strong technical foundation for the collaboration, particularly in projects where anchoring, mooring and environmental conditions are critical to long-term performance.
Integrated delivery
The partnership is intended to offer project owners an integrated solution through a single point of contact, bringing together EPC delivery and specialised floating-system expertise within a coordinated project framework. The approach aims to simplify project interfaces, strengthen engineering coordination and support consistent standards of quality and reliability.
Both organisations recognise that successful deployment of Floating Solar PV requires close integration of project execution capabilities and specialised technical knowledge. The collaboration will therefore emphasise knowledge exchange, the development of engineering capabilities and the application of each organisation’s expertise to project-specific requirements. The agreement reflects a shared commitment to technical excellence, effective collaboration and the continued development of Floating Solar PV as part of the wider renewable energy landscape.
