Hoymiles has introduced its MIS 6-in-1 microinverter in India and showcased a portfolio of solar and energy storage solutions spanning residential rooftops, commercial and industrial applications, and utility-scale projects at Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2026 in Greater Noida.
The company displayed its products at Hall 12, Booth B531, at India Expo Mart from October 22, as it looks to expand its presence in India’s growing solar and energy storage market. The launch was attended by Hoymiles Founder and CEO Dr Yang Bo and Vice President Guy Rong, alongside other representatives from the company’s China and India teams.
The newly launched MIS-3680-W microinverter supports between one and six photovoltaic (PV) modules per unit, allowing installers to accommodate different rooftop configurations and orientations.
According to the company, the microinverter features two independent maximum power point trackers (MPPTs) to manage split-roof layouts and mitigate generation losses caused by partial shading. Each input supports up to 2,200 W and 23 A, making the system compatible with solar modules rated above 700 W. The product has a stated European efficiency rating of 96.3%.
The microinverter carries an IP67 protection rating and is designed to operate across temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C. Its AC voltage operating range is 160–295 V. Safety features include built-in arc-fault circuit interrupter (AFCI) protection and a galvanically isolated topology, while the company said the product has undergone more than one million hours of reliability testing.
Hoymiles has also incorporated a plug-and-play cable system, Bluetooth connectivity and Wi-Fi Mesh networking to simplify installation and commissioning. Monitoring, remote diagnostics, over-the-air software updates and AI-assisted support are available through the S-Miles Installer App.
The product comes with a standard 12-year warranty and support from the company’s India-based technical team.
At REI Expo 2026, Hoymiles showcased five solution categories covering residential solar and storage, plug-in storage, commercial and industrial (C&I) solar and storage, utility-scale solar and storage, and power conversion systems (PCS).
The residential portfolio combines solar generation and storage with energy management capabilities, while the plug-in storage range targets users seeking simplified battery integration with new or existing solar installations.
For commercial and industrial customers, the company showcased liquid-cooled solar and storage systems designed to improve energy efficiency and manage electricity costs. Its utility-scale offerings address large solar projects and grid-level storage requirements, while its PCS portfolio focuses on power conversion in applications that may involve weak-grid conditions.
The company said its solutions are designed to integrate solar generation, storage and energy management to improve system performance and reliability.
Hoymiles said it is strengthening its presence in India through partnerships with distributors across different regions, with the aim of expanding its sales and service network and improving customer support.
The company also highlighted its engagement with Indian customers and channel partners, stating that its team had travelled to 63 cities to understand local requirements and build relationships with installers, distributors and other stakeholders.
Hoymiles, which was established in 2012, operates in the module-level power electronics and energy storage segments. The company described itself as the world’s leading microinverter shipper outside the US and a Tier 1 global energy storage manufacturer recognised by BloombergNEF. Its participation in REI Expo 2026 comes as India expands rooftop solar deployment and explores energy storage to support greater renewable energy integration. The company said it intends to work with local partners to develop solutions suited to India’s solar market.
