Avaada Electro Launches 745 Wp Solar Modules, Among India’s Highest-Powered Offerings Photograph: Avaada Electro
Avaada Group has unveiled a 745 Wp domestic content requirement (DCR) N-type TOPCon solar module at Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2026, highlighting its domestic manufacturing capabilities alongside rooftop solar and battery energy storage solutions.
Heeralal Nagar, Rajasthan’s Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Energy, unveiled the module at the exhibition, held from October 22 to 24 at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. The glass-to-glass module delivers a power output of up to 745 Wp and a module efficiency of 23.98%. It features a 132 half-cell configuration and an 18-busbar architecture, designed to improve power density and energy generation.
The launch comes as Indian solar manufacturers expand domestic production capacity and introduce higher-efficiency technologies to cater to the country’s growing solar market. India’s clean-energy transition is being supported by advances in solar technology, energy storage and decentralised power solutions. It is encouraging to see companies such as Avaada Group bring advanced solar modules, rooftop solar solutions and storage technologies to the market,” Nagar said. He added that such innovations could support renewable energy adoption and strengthen energy security.
Vineet Mittal, chairman of Avaada Group, said India should move beyond being a major consumer of solar technology and establish itself as a leading manufacturer. “India should not just be one of the world’s largest consumers of solar technology. India must become one of the world’s leading creators and manufacturers of solar technology,” Mittal said.
He added that the company’s 745 Wp DCR TOPCon module reflected its ambition to manufacture globally competitive solar products in India. Avaada has 6 GW of solar cell manufacturing capacity, of which 3 GW is operational, while an additional 3 GW production line is at an advanced stage of commissioning. The company also has 8.5 GW of operational solar module manufacturing capacity. At the exhibition, the company showcased its N-type TOPCon glass-to-glass modules, including products rated at up to 640 Wp with efficiencies of up to 23.7%, alongside G12R and G12 DCR modules rated at up to 745 Wp.
The modules incorporate features such as low light-induced degradation, low-light performance, temperature coefficients and bifacial energy generation, according to the company.
Avaada also showcased ready-to-install rooftop solar kits targeting residential, agricultural and commercial consumers. The kits combine solar inverters, electrical protection systems, earthing equipment and connectors to simplify installation. The company also presented Avaada HALO, an integrated battery energy storage system (BESS) designed to enable consumers to store electricity and use it when required.
The system combines a hybrid inverter, lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology and monitoring through the Avaada mobile application. According to the company, the modular system supports up to four stacked units and delivers up to 10 kW of continuous power. During outages, it can provide up to 11.5 kW with solar support, subject to operating conditions.
The solutions are aimed at enabling consumers to combine rooftop solar generation with storage and manage electricity consumption more effectively.
“Our vision goes beyond manufacturing solar panels. We want to enable every home, business and industry to generate, store and intelligently use clean energy,” Mittal said, adding that the company was building an integrated energy ecosystem spanning solar cells, modules, rooftop systems and battery storage.
Avaada’s pavilion at REI Expo 2026 also received visits from John Swinney, First Minister of Scotland, and Ravi Kishan, Member of Parliament from Gorakhpur and actor. The pavilion featured an interactive clean-energy quiz, titled *Energy Unplugged – Discover What You Know*, and a virtual reality experience showcasing the company’s solar manufacturing operations.
Through its exhibition, Avaada presented its portfolio across solar manufacturing, rooftop installations and energy storage as part of its broader clean-energy business.
Avaada Group operates across renewable power generation, solar manufacturing, energy storage and emerging green energy technologies. The company is developing solar manufacturing capabilities and integrated energy solutions to support India’s energy security and clean-energy transition.
