Avaada Group has introduced a 745 W n-type TOPCon solar module that complies with domestic content requirement rules, presenting it at the Renewable Energy India Expo 2026. The module was unveiled by Heeralal Nagar, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Energy Department in the Government of Rajasthan, according to pv magazine.
The glass-to-glass module offers power output of up to 745 W and module efficiency of 23.98%. Avaada said the product uses a 132 half-cell configuration and an 18-busbar architecture intended to raise power density and energy generation while supporting long-term performance.
Nagar commented that progress in solar technology, energy storage and decentralised power solutions is supporting India’s clean-energy transition, and he indicated that advanced modules, rooftop solar offerings and storage technologies from companies such as Avaada can help widen renewable-energy adoption and reinforce energy security.
Vineet Mittal, Chairman of Avaada Group, said India should move beyond being among the largest consumers of solar technology to become one of the leading creators and manufacturers of it. He described the 745 W DCR TOPCon module as a reflection of that ambition to produce high-performance, globally competitive solar products on Indian soil.
During the three-day REI exhibition, Avaada also displayed ready-to-install rooftop solar kits aimed at simplifying adoption for households, shops, farms and commercial establishments. The kits bundle key installation components, including solar inverters, electrical protection systems, earthing equipment and connectors.
Alongside the rooftop offering, the company showcased Avaada HALO, an integrated battery energy storage system intended to let customers store electricity and draw on it when needed. HALO combines a hybrid inverter, lithium iron phosphate battery technology and smart monitoring through the Avaada mobile app, supporting backup power, better use of rooftop solar generation and greater control over electricity consumption.
The modular system allows configurations of up to four stacked units and provides up to 10 kW of continuous power. With solar support during outages, output can reach up to 11.5 kW, depending on operating conditions.
Avaada has 8.5 GW of operational solar module manufacturing capacity. Its solar cell manufacturing capacity is 6 GW, made up of 3 GW of operational capacity and an additional 3 GW production line that is at an advanced stage of commissioning.
