Renogy, RVTAA Partner on Continuing Education Courses – RVBusiness

ONTARIO, Calif. — Renogy has partnered with the RV Technician Association of America (RVTAA) to give RVTAA member technicians two on-demand continuing education courses on RV solar and DC charging systems, worth three CEU hours in total, according to a release. The courses are now open to RVTAA members.
Solar charging and DC-DC charging are showing up on more RVs, and more of that equipment is arriving in the service bay. The training is built around what a technician does with that equipment: installing it, programming it, diagnosing it and keeping it running.
The courses are Solar Panels and Charge Controllers (2 CEU hours) and DC-DC Battery Chargers (1 CEU hour). Both cover installation, operation and programming, common technical issues and troubleshooting, and maintenance.
RVTAA members can access registration through the CEU library in their member dashboard. Training is delivered through Renogy’s learning management system and includes an evaluation, with a certificate of completion for technicians who pass. Because the courses are on demand, technicians can fit them around a shop schedule.
“Partnering with the RVTAA allows us to bring the latest off-grid energy training directly to certified technicians through flexible, on-demand CEU courses, empowering them to master the newest components on the market,” said Stephen Clifton, product solutions training manager at Renogy.
“Continuing education is an essential part of maintaining certification and ensuring our technicians and inspectors stay current with evolving technologies, industry advancements, and best practices,” said Destiny Rounsavall, member services and partnership coordinator at RVTAA. “Renogy’s expertise in solar power and energy solutions makes them a valuable educational partner, providing knowledge and resources directly relevant to today’s RV industry.”
The RVTAA courses extend a year of Renogy training for the RV channel, which has included a sales training webinar series for dealers and hands-on technical and sales training with NTP-STAG.
