Avaada Electro Limited, the solar manufacturing arm of Avaada Group, has secured enlistment for 7,117 MW of N-type TOPCon solar cell manufacturing capacity under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s 13th revision of the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) List-II. The capacity is located at the company’s Butibori manufacturing facility in Maharashtra.
Furthermore, the enlisted G12 N-type TOPCon solar cell technology has a manufacturer-declared maximum efficiency of 26.8 per cent and the highest listed average efficiency of 25.89 per cent. The G12 full-cell model has a declared maximum power output of 11.81 W per cell. The development is expected to strengthen India’s domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem and supply-chain resilience.
Earlier, in September 2026, Vikram Solar and Avaada Electro Limited entered into an agreement for the supply of 1 GW of domestically manufactured solar cells. Under the agreement, Avaada Electro will supply ALMM-compliant half-cut N-Type G12R TOPCon solar cells for Vikram Solar’s module manufacturing operations.
