OFFICE MEMORANDUM Sub: Approved Models and Manufacturers of Solar Photovoltaic Modules
(Requireqtents for Compulsory Registration) Order, 2019: Clarification – reg.

MNRE decided to enlist the eligible models and manufacturers of solar PV Cells & Modules complying with BIS standards and publish the same under ‘Approved List of Models and Manufacturers’ (ALMM) of solar PV modules I cells and accordingly, issued an order “Approved Models and Manufacturers of Solar Photovoltaic Modules (Requirement for Compulsory Registration) Order, 2019” (ALMM Order) on 02.01.2019, referred at (i) above. ALMM Order dated 02.01.2019 referred at (i) above, including amendment dated 02.02.2021 referred at (ii) above, inter-alia, provided as follows: “Only the models and manufacturers included in this list will be eligible for use in Government I Government assisted Projects I Projects under Government Schemes & Programmes, installed in the country, including Projects set up for sale of electricity to Government under the Guidelines issued by Central Government under section 63 of Electricity Act, 2003 and amendment thereof The word “Government” shall include Central Government, State Government, Central Public Sector Enterprises, State Public Sector Enterprises and, Central and State Organizations I Autonomous bodies.”

as per the provisions of respective State/ UT Policy or as per the rules and regulations of respective Electricity Regulatory Commission, has been made before 1st October 2022, to any of the relevant entities viz. Distribution licensee(s) J State Transmission Utility (STU)/ State Load Despatch Centre (SLDC) J State Nodal Agency for Renewable Energy J (Power/ Energy J Renewable Energy Department of the State/ UT).
