Wisconsin lawmakers are again floating a bill that would allow private developers to build and operate small-scale solar farms – drawing objections from utility companies.
A group of Republican lawmakers, led by Sen. Patrick Testin, of Stevens Point, and Rep. Scott Krug, of Rome, introduced a bill that would allow private solar developers to build community solar farms and sell the energy to residents through subscriptions.
