Oregon-based solar company blames One Big Beautiful Bill for closing – Statesman Journal

A Medford-based solar power company blamed federal cutbacks from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act when it notified the state that it was closing as of Dec. 26 and laying off 109 employees.
Purelight Power CEO JD Beck filed a notification to the state as part of the Worker Adjustment Retraining and Notification Act on Dec. 23.
