A new solar farm could be coming to Minooka. The Village of Minooka said
OneEnergy, a community solar developer, is proposing a commercial solar farm near the northeast corner of Interstate 80 and West Shepley Road.
Items related to this proposed development will be discussed at the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting on January 13^th.  To give residents an opportunity to learn more and ask questions ahead of the meeting, OneEnergy will host an open house on January 12 from 5:30–7:30 p.m.
in the Village Hall Community Room. Both the open house and the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting are open to the public. The Minooka Village Board will ultimately have the final say on the project at a future meeting.
