Local residents may comment on a proposal by Bloomington Hill to construct two solar facilities in Garrett County during a virtual hearing scheduled for March 3. The facilities would be built on Bloomington Hill Road and generate 9.9 megawatts of power. The developer proposes using 49 acres of a 72-acre property. Those wishing to speak at the hearing must pre-register by March 2 on the Public Service Commission website at psc.state.md.us.
