Fayette Township board to discuss solar project review process – WILX

HILLSDALE COUNTY, Mich. (WILX) – The Fayette Township Board will meet Monday to discuss the review process it has been conducting related to a proposed solar project in Hillsdale County.
The board will address what steps have been taken in that review process if a rezoning ordinance were to be approved by the township planning commission.
Under the proposed project, 1,300 acres of farmland would be used to build solar panels.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Jonesville Middle School.
A community-run website with more information on the proposed solar project can be found here.
