Gujrat headquartered Credence Solar Panels Private Limited has broken ground on a 2 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in Rajkot, Gujarat. The facility will produce next-generation G12 and G12R solar cells for high-efficiency modules. The plant is expected to become operational by Q4 2026. Credence Solar currently operates a 2.2 GW module manufacturing facility in Paddhari, Gujarat. The company manufactures Mono PERC, TOPCon and bifacial modules for multiple project segments. The new cell line is expected to strengthen supply chain reliability and quality control. The development comes ahead of India’s ALMM List-II implementation scheduled for June 1, 2026.
