Qcells announced the launch of Qcells New Homes, a new division focused on residential construction across the United States. The platform offers an end-to-end solar and storage solution designed for new home communities. Solar panels will be supplied from Qcells’ Georgia manufacturing facility along with domestically produced battery systems. The offering includes financing, installation support, and long-term monitoring services. The platform introduces a homebuyer-friendly operating lease with predictable monthly payments and no annual escalator. Integrated battery storage allows excess power to be stored or exported to the grid under programs such as California’s NEM 3.0. Backed by Hanwha Group, the division aims to support homebuilder adoption while addressing energy affordability and reliability.
