OWLS HEAD — The town’s code enforcement officer has issued a notice of violation to the Knox County Airport for failing to adequately screen its solar farm from the view of neighbors.
The March 10 notice from Rodney Mason, who is also the town administrator, noted the County failed to landscape plantings sufficiently tall and close together to completely obscure the solar panels from Ash Point Road as had been agreed by the airport and Owls Head Planning Board.
