A balcony solar unit.
The state Senate voted unanimously, 62-0, to adopt the Solar Up Now New York Act this past week.
The SUNNY Act, S8512B introduced by State Sen. Liz Krueger/A9111B introduced by Assemblymember Emily Gallagher, would legalize “balcony solar,” the small, plug-in solar panels anyone can use to save on energy bills.
