Cosmic PV Power Limited, an India-based PV module manufacturer, has conducted the groundbreaking ceremony for its planned 1.1 GW PV cell manufacturing unit at Mohasa in Madhya Pradesh. The project is proposed on 60 acres of land taken on a 99-year lease, with support from the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Civil construction will begin once the required approvals and statutory procedures are completed. The facility is scheduled to start commercial operations in Fiscal 2027-28. Cosmic PV Power said the unit would generate direct and indirect jobs for skilled and unskilled workers in the region. The company is engaged in module manufacturing, EPC, and aluminium frame production, covering module supply, project execution, and system-level integration.
