CertainTeed is expanding into solar mounting with its two new systems: Solstice Mounting System and Solstice Ground Mount.
The roofing and building materials company produces solar shingles and full-sized solar panels for the U.S. market. The Solstice Mounting System joins its solar rooftop product portfolio to provide installers with a single, fully engineered solution. CertainTeed’s new ground-mount system offers more solar options off the roof.
Designed specifically for pitched roof applications, the Solstice Mounting System features a lightweight, high-strength rail design that supports both portrait and landscape module orientations and offers compatibility with rafter or deck attachments. Pop-on universal clamps and single-tool installation help streamline the installation process, while integrated wire management enables clean, professional results across a wide range of residential roof types.
“CertainTeed has long been trusted for offering the industry’s most comprehensive warranties for roofing and solar systems,” said Andrew Wickham, Senior Director of Solar Products at CertainTeed. “With the introduction of the Solstice Mounting System, we are now the first company to offer high-quality asphalt shingle roofing materials, an industry-leading solar mounting system and modern solar panels, all backed by comprehensive warranties from a single, 120-year-old brand that contractors and homeowners trust.”
Solstice Ground Mount features a pipe-based design that accommodates a wide range of soil conditions. This expansion allows installers to rely on the same trusted Solstice platform across rooftop and ground-mount applications, simplifying product selection while maintaining consistent quality and performance standards.
