GCL SI, a China-based photovoltaic module manufacturer, signed an MOU with Getz Energy for the planned supply of up to 1 GW of PV modules in Thailand over the next three years. The agreement supports utility-scale solar deployment and smart energy integration projects in the country. Getz Energy is a wholly owned subsidiary of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC). Under the agreement, GCL SI will supply photovoltaic modules and battery energy storage systems for large-scale and hybrid solar applications. The company showcased its SiRo T Series and SiRo B Series module technologies during the Getz Energy Open House event in Thailand. GCL SI stated the partnership strengthens its presence in Southeast Asia’s renewable energy market. The agreement also supports Thailand’s growing demand for utility-scale solar infrastructure and grid modernization initiatives.
