ADAIR COUNTY, Mo. — Wednesday’s powerful storms interfered with efforts to collect energy from the sun in northeast Missouri.
The strong winds beat and battered several solar panels on the 1,100-acre Morris Solar Farm located between Kirksville and Millard.
We located damaged panels along Forgotten Trail off of Highway 3 south of Kirksville.

While most of the solar panels across the various fields remain intact, a number of them were loose, twisted, or in some cases, sections of them were on the ground.
On Thursday afternoon, our reporter saw crews working just north of Millard to repair damage done to solar panels at that location.
