State-owned coal miner Coal India Ltd (CIL) has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Bundelkhand Saur Urja Ltd (BSUL) to develop a 600 MW solar power project at the Jalaun Solar Park in Uttar Pradesh
Under the LoA, CIL will develop two 300 MW solar units for power supply at a discovered tariff of INR 2.73/kWh. The project cost is estimated at INR 2,831.11 crore.
The project is scheduled for completion within 18 months from the signing of the power purchase agreement (PPA).
