Premier Energies Limited has received orders worth ₹3,011 crore during the April–June quarter, comprising a total supply order for 1,846 MW of solar cells and modules. In a press release, Premier Energies said its order book is scheduled for delivery during FY2027 and FY2028.
The contracts have been awarded by a mix of leading power producers, module manufacturers, EPC companies, and other customers, reflecting strong confidence in the company’s manufacturing capabilities, product quality, and execution track record.
Premier Energies’ latest order wins align with the company’s broader expansion strategy, which it outlined during its FY26 analyst call. The company aims to strengthen domestic solar manufacturing while expanding into battery energy storage systems, inverters, and other clean energy components.
As part of this strategy, Premier Energies plans to invest around ₹5,100 crore in FY27 alone under a broader ₹12,000 crore three-year capital expenditure programme covering solar cells, ingot and wafer manufacturing, batteries, inverters, aluminium frames, and transformers.
Building on a strong order inflow, Premier Energies has expanded its manufacturing capacity, with its module manufacturing capacity recently increasing from 5.5 GW to 11.1 GW. Additionally, its solar cell manufacturing capacity is expected to grow from 3.6 GW to 10.6 GW by September 2026.
