Bluebird Solar, an India-based solar PV module manufacturer, has secured a 439.35 MW solar module supply order from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL). The company will deliver M10R N-Type TOPCon dual-glass bifacial solar PV modules for NTPC REL’s utility-scale project in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh. The order expands Bluebird Solar’s presence in India’s utility-scale solar market. Bluebird Solar manufactures modules at its 2.5 GW automated facility in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The company also plans to add 2.5 GW integrated manufacturing capacity for solar cells, wafers, ingots and battery energy storage systems (BESS) to expand its domestic production capabilities.
