LONGi, a China-based PV module manufacturer, has unveiled its Technology Forest portfolio at a Shanghai technology launch. The July 14 event presented eight technologies developed through nearly a decade of research and development work. The portfolio covers solar cells, PV modules, hardware, software, and integrated PV and energy storage systems. ACM Technology can improve mass-production module efficiency by 0.2–0.3%, while supporting module output of up to 672W. Integrated Conductive Backsheet Technology raises the current transmission cross-section by over 85% and adds 3–5W of module power. LONGi also reported a 35.5% silicon-perovskite tandem cell efficiency record verified by the European Solar Test Installation. Hi-MO X10 Pro Modules integrate ACM Technology and have reached 24.7% efficiency with a 670W power rating. Smart Modules can raise generation by 5%–30% under shaded conditions and reduce DC voltage below 30V within 20 seconds.
