If you want to get in on this then you need to get a move on because registration for the Switch Together offer is closing on Friday, 24 July. 
Solar on your house is a great way to bag energy, but knowing which way to turn if you’re interested can be daunting (which is why it’s so important to take advantage of this scheme while you can). 
Switch Together is a partnership between Lincolnshire County Council and domestic solar supplier iChoosr. It’s designed to help private households buy solar technology at a competitive price. There’s no commitment needed in order to see what’s available for your home.
The scheme gives homeowners the chance to invest in solar panels and battery storage, with optional EV charge points. There’s also the option of retrofit battery storage for anyone who already has solar panels and wants to make better use of the energy they generate. There’s even the possibility of earning money from unused solar power by exporting it back to the Grid.
Cllr Danny Brookes, Executive Member for Environment at LCC, said: “It’s fantastic that so many people have already signed up to see what Switch Together can offer but with the deadline on July 24, I’d encourage anyone who’s been thinking about solar to register and get the information that’s right for them. 
“This scheme makes the process of getting solar for your home much more straightforward. You get a clear proposal, good quality systems and competitive prices, and what’s most important is that you’re free to walk away if you decide that this scheme is not for you.”
