Tongwei, a China-based solar PV manufacturer, introduced its latest high-efficiency module technologies during Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich, Germany. The company has globally launched the TNC 3.0 BIFIMAX utility-scale module with up to 770 W output, 24.8% efficiency, and a TÜV Rheinland-certified 93.07% bifaciality rate. Tongwei stated that the module could generate an additional EUR 180,000 annually for a 100 MW solar plant in Hamburg while producing an extra 81.62 million kWh over its lifetime. The company also unveiled the upgraded TNC 2.0 G12R-48 residential module with up to 480 W output and 24% efficiency in a module size below 2 m². The residential module incorporates 360° 3D passivation technology for improved low-light performance and Louvred Interconnection technology to enhance resistance against micro-cracks and harsh weather conditions.
