Halocell Energy, an Australia-based developer and manufacturer of perovskite solar technologies, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MSWay Co., Ltd. The collaboration will combine Halocell Energy’s roll-to-roll printed perovskite solar modules with MSWay’s flexible transparent electrode (FTE) technology. FTEs are used in perovskite photovoltaics for charge extraction, optical transparency, and mechanical flexibility. The companies will explore the technology for lightweight and flexible solar applications. Target applications include satellites, fixed-wing drones, and other systems requiring lightweight power generation. Halocell Energy said the collaboration will also support materials development and research activities. The MoU brings together the companies’ perovskite module and electrode technologies for further development.
