Waaree Energies Limited has received an order for the supply of 2 GW of solar modules from a leading solar developer. The order was received on September 21, 2026, and has been placed by a domestic entity.
The one-time order covers the supply of 2 GW of solar modules, with deliveries scheduled across FY 2026-27 and FY 2027-28.
The company stated that neither its promoter, promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the entity that awarded the order. The transaction also does not fall under related party transactions.
Recent orders
The latest order follows a Letter of Award received last month by Waaree Forever Energies Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Waaree Energies, from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for developing a 700 MW solar and 700 MW/2,800 MWh energy storage solution (ESS) renewable energy power project in Solapur, Maharashtra.
Separately, Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited received a Letter of Award for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works for a 291 MWp ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) project integrated with a 280 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS).
