Germany-based EPC company GOLDBECK SOLAR is building a 5.1 MW Agri-PV park at its headquarters in Hirschberg an der Bergstraße. The project will install 7,982 solar modules across around 10 hectares, alongside a 2-hectare agricultural reference area. Three mounting configurations will be tested under operating conditions, comprising two tracker systems and one vertical fixed-tilt system. Agricultural activities will continue between and beneath the module rows, with tracker rows designed to accommodate tractors and other machinery. Sensors and monitoring systems will collect data on crops, machinery use and PV system performance. GOLDBECK SOLAR is delivering the project as EPC contractor, while future expansion is planned to include battery storage.
