A German renewable energy company,MaxSolar GmbH and DoppelErnte have marked the topping-out ceremony for the 8 MWp Riepholm Agri-PV plant in Lower Saxony, Germany. MaxSolar is a German renewable energy company active in the development, construction and operation of photovoltaic projects, including utility-scale and commercial solar installations. The Riepholm project is being implemented with Bioland-Hof Wilkens, Bürgerenergiegenossenschaft Visselhövede and other regional participants. Organic farming will continue between the module rows, enabling agricultural production and photovoltaic generation on the same land. The modules use east-west tracking to follow the sun and produce electricity particularly during higher-demand morning and evening periods. MaxSolar is responsible for the project’s engineering, procurement and construction, while DoppelErnte is the project developer. German politician Lars Klingbeil also visited the project during the topping-out event.
