MNRE, an India-based government ministry for renewable energy, has raised the enlisted solar cell capacity on ALMM List-II by 931 MW a year. The increase has come through two revisions, which the ministry issued within three days of each other in October 2026. The eleventh revision is dated 5 October, and it has lifted the PERC cell capacity of Premier Energies Photovoltaic in Telangana, India, from 751 MW to 1,280 MW. The same revision has also widened the efficiency and wattage ranges of a RenewSys India unit, which remains enlisted at 552 MW. The twelfth revision followed on 8 October, and it has enlisted a new 402 MW unit of Gopin Semicon near Surat in Gujarat, India. That unit makes n-type TOPCon cells at an average efficiency of 25.57%, as the manufacturer has claimed. With both revisions counted, the list now holds about 37.8 GW of enlisted cell capacity a year.
