Vikram Solar said today it has secured a 187 MW PV module supply order from a leading renewable energy developer for solar projects at three locations across Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
Under the agreement, Vikram Solar will supply its high-efficiency n-type TOPCon G12R modules, featuring glass-to-glass bifacial technology, with power ratings ranging from 615–625 Wp.
The order builds on Vikram Solar’s existing association with the developer and adds to its growing pipeline as an integrated domestic manufacturer as India targets 500 GW of non-fossil capacity.
Headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, Vikram Solar is one of the largest PV module manufacturers in India. It is a 9th time ‘Top Performer’ in PVEL’s PV Module Reliability scorecard and has been included in the Tier 1 solar PV modules manufacturer list of Bloomberg NEF for 9 consecutive quarters. Vikram Solar has established a pan-India presence through 119 authorized distributors and more than 750 dealers.
