YINGFA at REI 2026
As India’s solar manufacturing ecosystem expands, module manufacturers are increasingly looking beyond cell efficiency alone, with format flexibility, manufacturing compatibility, quality consistency and supply support becoming important considerations in cell selection.
At Renewable Energy India Expo (REI) 2026, YINGFA will showcase its TOPCon 3.0 cells with 27.3% measured cell efficiency and XBC 2.0 solar cells with efficiency up to 28.4%s, positioning the two technologies around different requirements in next-generation module design. For Indian module manufacturers, YINGFA is positioning its solar cell portfolio around three priorities: higher efficiency, greater design flexibility and reliable manufacturing support.
The company will exhibit at Hall 14, Booth C33, from October 22 to 24 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida.
More Cell Formats for Module Design
A key focus of YINGFA’s REI display is its TOPCon 3.0 platform. Rather than presenting a single cell configuration, YINGFA will be highlighting a multi-cut portfolio covering full-cell, half-cut, third-cut and quarter-cut options.
The approach is aimed at giving module manufacturers greater flexibility when evaluating cell layouts for different module formats and applications. At the booth, customers will be able to review physical cell samples and discuss areas such as cell selection, module design compatibility, production requirements and potential product configurations with YINGFA’s sales and technical teams.
The emphasis on multi-cut formats is particularly relevant as module manufacturers continue to explore different combinations of cell size, electrical design and module architecture to improve product performance and manufacturing efficiency.
XBC 2.0: High Efficiency, Pure Black Aesthetics
Alongside TOPCon, YINGFA will present its XBC 2.0 solar cell, with cell efficiency of up to 28.4%.
The XBC design features a pure black appearance with no front metal gridlines, offering another option for module manufacturers where both electrical performance and visual appearance are important design considerations.
YINGFA stresses that the efficiency figures displayed at REI refer specifically to cell-level performance. Final module performance depends on module design and manufacturing process.
The distinction is relevant for module makers assessing how higher-efficiency cells translate into finished products rather than evaluating cell efficiency as a standalone specification.
Manufacturing Across China and Indonesia
Beyond product technology, YINGFA will use REI 2026 to highlight its manufacturing footprint across China and Indonesia supported by a local team in India. Its international manufacturing footprint includes PT. Bintan Cellular Indonesia (BCI), YINGFA’s solar cell manufacturing base in Indonesia.
Its dedicated local service in India, where its local team acts as a link between customers and YINGFA’s sales, technical and customer service functions is expected to add to its responsiveness.This supports customers not only during product selection, but also in discussions covering specifications, sample evaluation, quality requirements, delivery coordination and after-sales support.
For Indian module manufacturers, YINGFA sees this combination of technology, manufacturing flexibility and local communication as central to building longer-term supplier relationships.
From Exhibition to Customer Collaboration
During REI 2026, YINGFA will also engage module manufacturers and industry partners around future product requirements and collaborations rather than limiting its participation to product display.
