Alpex Solar Ltd has secured a commercial order valued at ₹215.20 crore (excluding GST) from a leading domestic enterprise for the supply of high-efficiency solar photovoltaic modules, reinforcing the company’s position within India’s expanding renewable energy supply chain. The order involves the manufacture and delivery of advanced solar modules for domestic deployment and is scheduled to be executed over a six-month period. The contract adds to Alpex Solar’s existing order book and reflects continued demand for domestically produced solar equipment across utility-scale and commercial projects.
Ashwani Sehgal, Managing Director of Alpex Solar Ltd, said the order reflects growing confidence among large industry participants in the company’s manufacturing capabilities and execution track record. He noted that the contract aligns with Alpex Solar’s objective of supporting India’s clean energy transition through scalable and reliable solar solutions.
Alpex Solar operates multiple manufacturing facilities across Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, offering an integrated portfolio that includes solar PV modules, solar cells, EPC services, solar pumping solutions, and aluminium frames. The company is currently expanding its manufacturing footprint, with five additional facilities under development in Greater Noida, Kosi-Kotwan in Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.
Construction at the Kosi-Kotwan site is progressing rapidly as part of the company’s ongoing solar cell and module capacity expansion programme. These investments are intended to enhance production scale, improve supply reliability, and support growing domestic demand under India’s renewable energy and domestic manufacturing initiatives.
Founded in 1993, Alpex Solar manufactures both monocrystalline and polycrystalline photovoltaic modules, with a product range that includes TOPCon, bifacial, mono-PERC, and half-cut technologies. The company also undertakes EPC projects and has a strong presence in solar pumping solutions for agricultural and infrastructure applications.
Alpex Solar serves as a contract manufacturing partner for established industry players including Tata Power and Jakson, and has delivered projects for leading EPC organisations across multiple states. Its primary manufacturing facility in Greater Noida spans approximately 150,000 square feet and supports the company’s growing production requirements. Alpex Solar was listed on the NSE Emerge platform in February 2024 and continues to expand its workforce, R&D capabilities, and manufacturing capacity to meet evolving market needs.
