Eiffel Investment Group invests €150m in solar PV operator Amarenco – Net Zero Investor

French asset manager Eiffel Investment group has announced a €150m investment in Amarenco – a renewable energy company. The investment is part of a wider €300m holding company financing platform raised by Amarenco to finance the rollout of its European renewable energy and energy storage assets.
Amarenco builds and operates large-scale solar PV and storage infrastructure across Europe. In 2025, the company reached a total installed capacity of 650MW. Its capacity growth has been financed by over €500m in annual investments.
“Over the past 12 months, Amarenco has secured €1 billion from leading financial institutions in Europe. The scale and pace of this financing demonstrate Amarenco’s ability to accelerate industrialisation and continued growth, particularly in the current macroeconomic environment”, said Charles Cadoux, Amarenco’s chief investment officer.
Eiffel led the transaction for Amarenco’s holding company platform. Amarenco’s association with Eiffel began back in 2018, five years after the former was founded. This is the eight collaboration between the two since then.
“This financing, which covers both photovoltaic assets and battery storage assets owned by Amarenco in its key geographical areas (France, Iberia and Ireland), is of strategic importance for both Amarenco and Eiffel”, commented Eiffel’s director, Roman Londner.
“This eighth transaction between our two institutions demonstrates our mutual trust and the strength of the partnership we have built up over the years”, he added.
